Apostle of Solitude–Embraced by the black (demo-EP,2006)

I’ve been spending my latest of these unusally warm, but grey and depressing, rainy january days with listening Apostle of Solitude demo-ep.You listen it once and can’t escape. No wonder as they were a highlight of 2006 for traditional doom metal in its world of different doom subgenres, which mainly don’t worth a pin and lack of everything to be good music, when neither doom nor metal,eh…This is like you can say very simply, this is bad shit music or this is good.Aos is very good. The question is: how can they go better after having such an authentic, obscure and sombre, and a small touch of epic feelings evoked in these 3 songs of honest, passionate and heavy doom with excellent guitarwork,emotion-filled good vocals, tight drums and brilliant compositions.I wish i could tell you folks, how oustanding and epoch-making it is,but if such a classic stuff come across my life,i go dumb.If you have a clue what doom is about and can’t live without it,you can’t be that fake to miss this band.www.apostleofsolitude.com
